ANNIE'S STORY

Our interest in, and subsequent specialization of, the world of adoption travel began in 1996 when new client Monica Miller called as part of her search to find airfare to Russia.

We were able to help Monica find the air and, when the word to travel came in early 1997, she was prepared and eager to go. Monica and Mark Miller returned with their adorable "Annie" a short time later.

Through the years, we have reconnected with Monica and other client's families at annual reunion picnics. We have continued working with Monica as she works with the Family Hope program to expand adoption opportunities for other families.

Annie's parents had wanted to be a family for many years before being blessed with Annie. They have been able to offer her opportunities that she would never have been able to enjoy had she not been adopted and moved to the United States. But Monica, Annie's mother, readily admits that it is she who has received the bigger blessing in having Annie. Monica has experienced a joy she never knew existed before becoming a mother. A sister, Mackenzie, was added to the family in 2000. Monica and her husband cherish their family time together. In fact, they celebrate "Gotcha" month each year…both daughters were adopted in April, making that month the best month of the year!

Annie, now 10, has blossomed into a delightful and talented young lady. She has a great sense of humor. Annie enjoys dancing and is musically inclined – both in singing and playing musical instruments. In addition to all this, Annie is an accomplished horse rider.
